Coming from Udine, Northeastern Italy, Moth's Tales are born in 2002 beginning to arrange songs spontaneously marked by wave moods.
In 2003 the band self-publishes straight a full-length release: Decadent Truth, including the acclaimed 'Sadness'. They play a multimedial concert conceived together with the well-known artist Giuseppe Zigaina: a selection of his works is projected during the exhibition.
In 2004 they write ‘Raving Eyes’, a twenty-minute soundtrack for ‘Jo Quiero’, a short film about environmental defense.
The second album Obstiné comes out in early 2006 and collects enthusiastic critics around the national alternative press. Aired on the main local radios, later Nomadism Records release three songs of the record on the worldwide-distribution compilation United Forces Of Phoenix, together with ex Fields Of The Nephilim projects and new alternative realities.
From the start Moth’s Tales have been attaching the biggest importance to live shows as the most honest mode of expression.
The new album Unknown Portrait, first released by Nomadism Records, strengthens the band's bare and intense style characterized by evocative instrumental weavings and dramatic vocals.
